One day software testing course

This tutor led testing training course introduces some of the fundamentals of software testing

Software testing courses can overwhelm the beginner with the introduction of many new terms and concepts. At Zoonou we understand this and have designed our courses to ease a learner into the world of software testing.

This introduction to software testing course has been designed for staff who are new to software testing or quality assurance. For example project managers, business analysts, and support staff who wish to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of software testing. For those with an existing basic knowledge have a look at our five day course.

The course assumes that you have little or no previous knowledge regarding software testing. It will help if a learner has a basic understanding of how software projects run. It concentrates on the important concepts and knowledge required, and then applying this knowledge to an existing application. This allows the learner to consolidate the knowledge gained throughout the day, and will improve the longer term recall of the information. It will also help a learner to decide what are the important factors regarding testing in their organisation.

We believe strongly in active learning and will encourage learners to speak, think, and record their thoughts and notes into their structured workbook (provided on the day). We use concrete scenario-based examples to help aid understanding of concepts and jargon.

By the end of the course a learner will have gained all the important knowledge required to understand how software testing fits into an organisation, and the benefits and limits of software testing.
